Peachtree City prices held steady while more homes changed hands
More homes sold in Peachtree City, and prices barely moved. That means buyers are finding deals and sellers are still closing. The Real Estate Data Aggregator counted 199 homes sold in ZIP 30269 in the three months ending July 31, 2026. That is up 17.1% from the same three months in 2025. The median sale price came in at $600,000, up just 0.4%. The Federal Housing Finance Agency put the U.S. annual price gain at 2.6% through July 2026. Peachtree City is running well below that national pace.
Homes are taking a little longer to sell. The Real Estate Data Aggregator put the median days on market at 39 days. That is 13 days longer than the same period in 2025. Not every home sold fast. Still, 206 sales were pending at the end of the period, up 19.1% from a year before. That pipeline is healthy.
Supply rose, but the market stayed balanced
The Real Estate Data Aggregator counted 181 homes for sale in ZIP 30269, up 16% from a year before. New listings came in at 232, up 8.4%. More choices for buyers did not tip the market. Months of supply held at 2.8 months, unchanged from a year before. That is a balanced reading.
Sellers are still getting close to their asking price
The Real Estate Data Aggregator found that homes sold for an average of 98.3% of list price. That is down just 0.3 points from a year before. Sellers are not giving much away. About 12.6% of homes sold above list price, down 8 points from a year before. Bidding wars are less common, but strong pricing still holds.
Nationally, Realtor.com reported that median list prices fell 1.3% year over year in August 2026. Price cuts showed up in 20.4% of listings across the country that same month. Peachtree City is holding its own against that national softness.
Mortgage rates are a factor worth knowing
CNBC reported the average 30-year fixed mortgage rate at 7.45% on September 24, 2026. That is up 19 basis points from the day before. Rates are not low. That makes the steady pricing here worth paying attention to. Buyers and sellers are still closing deals despite the rate environment.
About 25.7% of homes went under contract within two weeks of listing, according to the Real Estate Data Aggregator. That is down 4.9 points from a year before. Quick sales are less automatic now. Pricing and condition still matter a lot.
